Spring opening
A spring start-up is more than taking the cover off. We remove debris, clean the baskets and filter, vacuum and brush, test and rebalance the water, and check the pump, filter, chlorinator and heater are running as they should. If the pool has turned over winter, we move straight to a green pool clean-up.
Winter closing
Highlands winters are cold and frosty, but switching a pool off completely is usually what leads to a green pool in spring. Our winter set-up is about running the pool efficiently, not abandoning it: a thorough clean, balanced water, adjusted run times and sanitiser levels, and a cover where you have one. Many owners then move to fortnightly or monthly servicing until spring.
Holiday homes and weekenders
If you only use the pool in the warmer months, we can open it before you arrive and close it after you leave. See our holiday rental pool care.
We open and close pools across the Southern Highlands, including Bowral, Mittagong, Moss Vale, Berrima, Bundanoon, Robertson, Exeter, Burradoo, Sutton Forest, Hill Top, Colo Vale and Welby.

Frequently asked questions
Should I turn my pool off over winter?
We don’t recommend switching off completely. Reduced run times, balanced water and a cover keep it healthy and make spring much easier.
When should I book a spring start-up?
Book before the first warm spell, so the pool is clean and balanced before algae gets going.
