Heating in a cool climate
At altitude, nights are cold even in summer, so heat is lost quickly from an uncovered pool. That’s why we nearly always talk about covers alongside heating: keeping the heat in is just as important as putting it there. In the Highlands we strongly recommend one. Cold nights pull heat out of an uncovered pool quickly, so a cover makes any heater far more effective.
Can you fix my existing heater?
